"I have never had back and neck pain since my reduction"

"Are you happy with the size of your breasts but they are not quite what they used to look like?"
Saggy or Droopy Breasts ?

The GOOD NEWS is ….......

reduction_img2_03
we can help you !!!!!

Pregnancy can cause your breast to grow and swell, stretching the skin, but when your breasts return to normal size and after the conclusion of breast feeding the excess skin left behindcan lead to a droopy breast. Weight loss or normal aging can do the same thing.

Basically a sagging breast is one in which there is too much skin and not enough breast. A Beast Lift is a great option for women wanting firm breasts and support.

Reast Lift Surgery in Thailand / Mastopexy in Thailand / Breast Uplift in Thailand

Unlike Thailand reduction surgery, Thailand breast uplift does not aim to change the size of the breasts, but to restore a more youthful and attractive shape to the breasts. This is done by removing sections of redundant skin and reshaping the breast tissue. Some stretch marks may be removed, but most will remain. A breast lift will raise and reshape your breasts that due to time and also due to your pregnancy have lost their shape. Your surgeon will reduce the excessive skin and also add volume and frequenty both.

The Best Candidates for Breast Lift

The ideal breast lift candidates for a Breast lift in Thailand is in good health, does not smoke, has a stable weight and has a realistic expectations of the surgery. Candidates should not be pregnant or nursing, or plan to become pregnant, as this can reverse the effects of breast lift surgery.

Breast Lift Cost?

Breast lift surgery cost in Australia varies so much from Australian plastic surgeon to Australian plastic surgeron however around $13,000 - $15,000 is not unusual whereas Breast Lift Cost in Thailand is about $4000- $4500. Even with cost of airfares and hotels, etc your Breast Lift Surgery Cost in Thailand can be a huge saving on what it costs at home!!

How long Does a Breast Lift last?

Breast lift surgery is very good at making the breasts firmer and many women find that they no longer need to wear a bra to feel comfortable and look good in their clothes. Unfortunately gravity is always present as are the effects of pregnancy however the operation is considered a permanent solution.

The breasts will continue to respond to your body's physiological changes, as they did prior to the surgery. Definitely your breasts will be more youthful and fuller than they would have been without a breast lift.

And Should I have a Breast Implant?

Many women are acutally happy with the size of their breast and these women opt for a breast lift only whereas some other women are unhappy with the size and volume. In such cases we very frequently see the combination of a lift with a breast implant resulting in firmer and larger breasts.

What Happens Before Surgery

A breast lift can be performed at any age, but plastic surgeons usually recommend waiting until breast development has stopped. Prior to surgery, a complete medical history is taken in order to evaluate your health. A thorough examination of the breasts is also made to determine the most effective surgical approach. Mammograms as well as photographs may be taken before surgery.

Prior to surgery it is usually necessary to stop using certain medications including aspirin in order to minimize the possibility of excessive bleeding. Birth control and other estrogen containing hormones may also need to be discontinued for a short period. Antibiotics are often prescribed prior to surgery to prevent infection.

Women who anticipate breast-feeding after surgery should discuss this with the physician as the ability to breast-feed after mastopexy can vary from patient to patient.

What happens during Breast Lift Surgery in Thailand

Breast Lift Surgery in Bangkok or Breast Lift Surgery in Phuket is conducted in the same way as Breast Lift Surgery in Australia (except the Breast Lift Prices in Thailand are significantly less !) Your surgeon will place precise drawings on you body prior to your surgery.

The surgery approach and the technique used for your particular operation wil be dependent on the amount of your breast sagg, location of your areola and of course the quality of your skin however usually your surgeon will conduct a procedure called “limited scar” method.

One of the most common methods for a Lift involves first making an incision around the areola (the dark skin surrounding the nipple) and then an incision down the breast from the areola, and the last incision is horizontal beneath the breast and follows its natural curve in both directions.

lift     lift

Anchor incisions are for the area where your skin is to be removed and for nipple relocation. The amount of lift will naturally determine how long your incision is to be.

This allows your surgeon to bring skin, formerly above or adjacent to the areola , down which removes excessive skin and in turn this tightens breast tissues and thus resulting in lifted and firm breasts.

After removal of excessive breast skin, the nipple and areola can be moved to a higher position. If necessary the areola can be reduced in size. The whole procedure can last 2- 3 hours.

A modified procedure can be done on patients who have minimal sagging. This involves the removal of skin form the areola and surrounding areas. With realistuc expectation women wil be very satisfied.

How Will I feel after Surgery

You will probably have a small amount of discomfort for a couple of days but don’t worry too much about this as you can be prescribed pain medications ( not aspirin for at least two 2 weeks due to risk of bleeding) The level of discomfort, like most things, varies from woman to women however after a few days all should be ok.

You will immediately be happy with the new appearance however your breasts will appear tight and unnatural. This is quite normal and things quickly settle down into your new good looking shape.

RECOVERY AFTER SURGERY

After a few days, the discomfort will subside - the recovery time varies from person to person

  • Patients most commonly require a hospital stay of 1-2 nights.
  • You should gradually increase mobility and activity aim to be back to normal in two weeks.
  • Heavy lifting or straining MUST BE AVOIDED FOR AT LEAST A MONTH AFTER SURGERY.
  • Recommended recuperation time in Thailand varies from surgeon to surgeon however as a guide we suggest 10 days minimum AFTER SURGERY
  • It is expected that your recuperation period is in the same city as where you had your operation.
  • Showers and shallow baths are possible, however it is important to keep your tapes dry.
  • If you are a smoker your healing may be delayed. Likewise drinking alcohol to excess after surgery could increase your risk of bruising and bleeding.
  • In a very few  cases it is necessary to place a  a small tube under your skin in order to drain excess fluid or blood.
  • Your recuperation will naturally be depend on your helath and age and the size reduction required.

What is Reduction Mammaplasty in Thailand

During breast reduction surgery in Thailand, excess breast skin, fat, and glandular tissue is removed to reshape, reduce and contour your breasts so they are in proportion to your body size and in turn alleviating the discomfort associated with overly large breasts.

reduction_img2_03

Popular reasons for having breast reduction surgery

  • Disproportionately large breasts for your body size.
which results in chronic neck, back or shoulder pain because of the added burden on your muscles and bones and in turn this causes you to slouch and hunch your back due to the excessive weight on your front. Painful and annoying bra strap indentations.
  • Painful and annoying bra strap indentations.
Having to wear a support bra all the time means that your bra tends to cut against your skin.
  • Skin irritation beneath the breasts.
Not only are large breasts uncomfortable they can all cause skin irritation underneath the breasts when the folds of skin keep rubbing.
  • Noticeable size difference between breasts.
Some women have one breast that’s significantly larger than the other. Breast reduction surgery can help balance out the proportions.

How is a Breast Reduction inThailand performed?

There are a number of different methods to perform breast reduction surgery. Naturally the method for you depends on the current status of your breasts and your best outcome.

In assessing your procedure your surgeon will carefully check the size and shape of your breasts, the quality of your skin, and the placement of the nipples and areolas.

If you are overweight, your plastic surgeon may suggest that you lose weight before having surgery.

During a Thailand breast reduction, incisions can be made:

  • Around the areola only
  • Around the areola with a vertical incision to the breast crease
  • Around the areola with a vertical incision to the breast crease followed by a horizontal incision across the breast crease.

After the incision is made, the nipple may be moved to a new postion. If so required your surgeon will reduce your areola by excising skin at the outside area. The excess skin, fat, and tissue is removed and the breast is reshaped to a natural contour.

Occasionally, for very large breasts, the nipple and areola may need to be removed and transplanted to a higher position on the breast (nipple graft).

arms

Following the incision it may in some case be neceeary to remove excess fat. This fat will be removed by use of liposuction. If your surgery requirment is primarily due to fatty tissue then it may not be necessary excise skin and liposuction only will be performed. Your surgeon will decide the best approach for your particular case.

The incisons made by your surgeon are permanent however usually you will expereine a very significant fading of the cut line over the next year.

Breast Reduction - Aftercare

Wearing of a suitable sports bra is recommended in the period of 6 – 12 weeks after surgery. This bra should place an even – but not too strong – amount of pressure on your breasts thereby counteracting excessive scarring. Sports activities should be avoided for at least 8 weeks after surgery. Any swelling and bruises should recede in the first weeks after surgery. A normal shower and bodily hygiene regime can typically be resumed after a few days.

If self-dissolving stitches are not used, the stitching material can be removed manually after about five weeks. After surgery you will be bruised and swollen and sore (for the first few days) but medication will keep the pain manageable. It takes different lengths of times for bruising to go away however after a week it is gone or quite faint. You should not take up smoking again (most ladys take this as opportunity to stop completely) however if you do you should definitely avoid smoking for the first 3 weeks after the operation as this can negatively impact the healing of the wound.

Please talk to your doctor about full details on your aftercare.

Breast Augmentation Thailand is also known as Augmentation Mammoplasty, Breast Enhancement, Breast Augmentation, Breast Enlargement and a 'boob job' . The breast operation involves using implants to obtain fuller breasts.

Breast Implant in Thailand Options

  • Saline breast implants in Thailand: These implants are prefilled with sterile and safe salt water. Additionally the implants may be further filled during surgery if minor modification of the implant size is required.
  • Silicone filled breast implants in Thailand: These implanst are not 'modifiable'. They come with prefilled elasastic gel - quite soft gel. The incision for silicone implants is usually slightly larger than saline implants but really a minor difference in incision length.

Implant Incisions

Thailand breast implants involves a surgeons inserting implants via different types of incisions. The surgeon will make the incisions in an inconspicuous area to minimize visible scarring. The particular incision option is one of the items that will be discussed during your consultation and so as to ensure the appropriate desired outcome. This is an important discussion hence why we ensure your Thai surgeon has good English skills - something often overlooked by potential patients.

Inframammary incision

arms

This incision is under the breast and near the inframammary fold. After the incision is made the implant is slid upward and the your surgeon will correctly locate your implan behind your nipple. You surgeon will ensure the incision is placed in a location that allows for the appropriate placement of the implant and simultaneoulsy ensure minimal scar visibility.

Scarring from inframammary incisions is easily hidden under bras and swim suites and remember that with time the small scar will fade. With this type of incision it is possible for the implant to be located in all three areas behind the pectorial muscle.muscle – ie:partially behind and also above (refer below more details).

Transaxillary incision

arms

In the arm pit (transaxillary incision) The incision is made in the armpit. Due to skin fold it is a natural location and any potential scar is generally completely hidden.

The advantage of this incision type is that the scar is not at the breast, and can accommodate all three types of implant placement.

Periareolar incision

arms

The incision is made on the perimeter of the areola -ie: between the surrounding breast skin and the areola thus ensuring the incision is hidden.

ie you may not be able to see a scar due to the colour and texture of the areola region.

Tuba Incision

Tuba incision or Trans-umbilical incision is a navel incisio. Many surgeons do not offer this method. We cannot assist with such requests.

Which incision should I use for breast surgery in Thailand ?

The most popular incision is the inframammary (under the breast) incision. Approximately 70% of women opt for this type of as it is has a small complication and rate and also the incision is well-hidden.

The periareolar incision (incision around the colored part of your nipple) is also very popular. This incision usually heals well, but the donwside is that it is located on the front of the breast. Statistics show that there is a higher complication rate with a periareolar incisions eg: capsular contracture.

An armpit (transaxillary) incision is generally y used for saline implants with some plastic surgeons using this method for small silicone implants as well.

The belly button technique (trans-umbilical breast augmentation, or TUBA) to our knowlege is not used in Thailand and probably because the method is controversial.

For my Thailand Breast Implants should I have my implants under or over the muscle? (subglandular or submuscular).

Today many Thailand plastic surgeons choose to place the breast implants below the pectoralis muscle as this lowers the risk of capsular contracture and many state also providing easier seen results when one has a mammogram.

In some wide-spaced breast patients it may result in a space between the breasts - something often not preferred plus additionally when the pectoralis muscle is flexed there is a movement of the implant. This method is not ideal for patients who have slightly droopy breasts. The pectoralis major muscle lies underneath the breast and over the rib cage.

With thinner women there is not a lot of breast tissue to cover a saline implant. Surgeons noticed that with saline implants in thin women there was a tendency to develop waviness in the skin or a rippling of the skin. This is in fact very noticeable with textured implants. As a solution to decrease the potential of capsular contracture and rippling sugeons commenced placing implants in the area beneath the pectoralis major muscle. This placement creates additional padding and also more coverage of the implants and resulted in rippling to be a very rare issue. Silicone implants are softer and realistic in feel and look. Silicone implants are not as likely to ripple and as a reult the surgeon can position them in a subglandular position whilst decreasing the risk of rippling.

A possible solution for rippling saline implants can be to replace them with silicone implants.

arms

Women that previouslylsy had larger breasts are frequently better suited to a subglandular / over the muscle implant placement. In the case of a large volume reduction with minimal skin shrinkage then the patient is left with a skin envelope around the breast tissue - just like an an "empty bag". Under these circumstances it may be better to place the implant in a subglandular position as this should permit the implant to naturally fill out thebreast images 'bag' area.

The breast enlargement procedure is performed when a surgeon inserts your breast implant above the best muscle or behind breast tissue (refer image)

What size implants?

arms

It is absolutely CRITICAL that you are not rushed thru your consultation and you very clearly discuss the appropriate implant size. We ensure we use hospitals where consultations are not rushed and your surgeon has good English.

Statistics show the women choose breast implant size without conducting adequate investigations about size requirments. We have a few suggestions that might help you.

Silicone Breast implants come in a wide range of sizes between 200cc and 450cc. These sizes are different from normal bra cup sizes. With so many different bra sizes it can be confusing especially as no two women are exactly the same size. The most typical size change we see is going from an A Cup to a C cup.

Whilst the surgeons we use provide lots of advice and help in choosing appropriate size you may care to find out approximately what size your require now. To do this you can complete the following tests.

RICE TEST

This is quite a basic test and certainly does not give an exact answer as to your required implant sizes however for an immediate indication it is great.

What you have to do is fill a plastic bag with rice and then place the bags in your bra. This should give you a very rough idea of how large your breasts will be after the implants have been placed.

Obtain (i) rice (ii) 2 plastic sandwich bags (iii) a bra preferably a sports bra.

Measure rice to match the cc's of the implant you are considering. If you do not have a metric measuring cup here is a conversion chart for you to use:

1 cup = 236cc ¾ cup = 177cc
2/3 cup = 156cc ½ cup = 118cc
1/3 cup = 78cc ¼ cup = 59cc
1/8 cup = 30cc

Using the chart above, if you wanted to create a 300cc implant sizer, use 1 cup (236cc) plus 1/4 cup (59cc) of rice. The total (295cc) will give you a rough look at what you could look like with a 300cc implant

You can try it right now!

BYE BYE SAGGY ARMS

arms
I can’t believe I lost almost 45 kgs. That was fantastic but with all the fat gone I got saggy baggy arm things. After I had them fixed in Thailand I felt a million dollars and so more attractive and I am more active too. I can ever wear singlet tops !
Judith, March 2006

udith was proud that she lost so much weight. When she approached us she was particularly bothered by the laxity in her upper arms. The way her arms were they were affecting her confidence and restricting the clothes she was able to wear. After review of her images, by one of our surgeons, she underwent a bilateral brachioplasty upper arm lift in Thailandand you can see the significant difference.

You will also note a permanent arm lift scar however the ‘after picture’ shown above was taken only about 3 months after surgery. Judith’s scar faded dramatically over the first year after surgery. Her brachioplasty scar is located in an infrequently seen portion of her arm and is not a concern for her at all.

Brachioplasty in Thailand or a Arm Lift in Thailand is a cosmetic procedure for those who have excess fat and skin beneath their upper arms The soft tissue of your arms may have become lax and now there may be drooping and sagging of your the arms - loose and hanging. Naturally many women are embarrassed by the appearance of sagging upper arms and want to have a slimmer, more youthful appearance.

The arm lift procedure is ideal for patients who have a significant amount of excess, hanging skin or fat in the upper arm area, maintain a stable weight and have realistic expectations for surgery. It is also important that patients are healthy overall, with no major medical conditions that may be affected by surgery.

Arm Surgery

  • Our surgeon will make incisions on the inside or back of your arm. The length and position of the incision varies from patient to patient.
  • Some patients only require minimal incisions from the area where the inner, upper arm joins the armpit.
  • Liposuction is performed on the arm if significant fat removal is required.
  • Excessive skin is then trimmed, tightened and sutured in place with absorbable sutures, or stitches that will be removed within two weeks after your surgery.
  • Your skin is then smoothed over the new contour of your arm and the arms are usually wrapped with an elastic dressing.

Recuperation and Healing

  • A compression garment may be worn on the arms for approximately two weeks.
  • Bruising and swelling are normal and will take a number of weeks to go away.
  • It is not unusual that in the early period after surgery that you experience a stiffness in your arms however this is usually resolved in 1 -2 months.
  • Sometimes you will experience a numbness of the upper and lower arm but again this is usually resolved in 1- 2 months.
  • Stiches are removed within two weeks.
  • Speak to your surgeon and us about scar creams and other treatments.
  • The scar will take 8 -12 months to fade.

The Michelle Obama Arms

obama

"Between the years 2000 and 2012, the world saw how the US First Lady influenced not only the world of politics but as well as the field of plastic surgery.

Michelle Obama’s arms are chosen by majority of US women.

Why Michelle Obama, you ask? According to a report by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, more than 15 000 upper arm lift surgeries were done in the US in 2012 which was a far cry from its usual number of 300."

So terms such as Bat-wings, tuck shop arms, bingo wings, floppy arms can all become comments of the past.
